How It Works

RE-Ox removes deposits because it is made with a unique proprietary process that produces a unique sodium hypochlorite engineered to penetrate and eliminate the nucleation sites (the attachment mechanisms) that start and hold inorganic and organic matrices together and to surfaces.  Traditionally fabricated chlorine compounds do not release scale and, in fact, like other treatments, actually contribute to scale matrix deposits.

Water contains organic matter, dissolved solids and minerals that form SCALE in distribution pipes, fixtures, equipment and on surfaces.

Many cleaning and sanitizing agents leave film RESIDUES.

RE-Ox prevents Nucleation.  Nucleation is the key requirement for the crystallization of minerals from aqueous solution directly on surfaces.  Nucleation is the beginning of scales, films and other deposits.  Existing mineral scales cannot be sustained and new scales cannot form without continuous nucleation.  

RE-Ox disrupts the attachment mechanisms of mineral scales and other deposit constituents in water systems, as can no other known chemical approved for potable water applications.  As a result, the systems in which the RE-Ox treated water is used rapidly becomes cleaner and remains cleaner.

RE-Ox treated water eliminates scale and other deposition in the entire water distribution system without interruption to system or facility operation and prevents the need for system or facility shut down for intrusive, hazardous or other treatment or pipe removal and replacement. Drinking water quality can be maintained within EPA and State standards by simply adjusting the treatment application rate to remove deposit mater in acceptable minute quantities.  The fact is, organic and inorganic deposits regularly build up and regularly slough off into the drinking water; and adversely affect the water; causing significant and often severe consequences.  With RE-Ox, the deposit mater is removed gradually, imperceptibly and constantly with an increase in chlorine residuals, until control is achieved.  Once eliminated,  material is not present to adversely affect the water again. Deposit removal in water systems, equipment, floors, walls and drains results in numerous cost saving and performance enhancing benefits.

Metal and plastic surfaces become exceptionally clean.  They are cleaned at the microscopic level as well as the visual level.

Many cleaners are also extremely corrosive, causing etching and ongoing maintenance and replacement of equipment. RE-Ox does not add corrosivity to water.

RE-Ox is neutral pH.

RE-Ox is non-hazardous even in its concentrated form.
